About Us

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

 STRUCTURE

LEGAL STATUS

  • To promote the development of leadership training, promotion of social and intellectual co-operation among African Countries and to exchange ideas with United Nations Agencies, especially on health, environmental protection and education issues.
  • Initiate and encourage programmes for sustainable development in rural communities, to promote peaceful co-existence and human rights awareness within Nigeria in particular and Africa in general.
  • To create a youth network for exchange of experiences, peace and development. To carry out National Youth Development projects on drug abuse and violence prevention among school children in Nigeria and the ECOWAS sub-region.
  • To work extensively on voter education and the popularization of the African Charter on peoples’ rights, education, lobbying and legislative strengthening.
  • To sensitize indigent African women and children about the importance of immunization, good nutrition and the prevention of killer diseases like malaria, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, etc

AFED commenced her operations in the Year 2000 but was duly registered with The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the Year 2008; Our Registration number is CAC/IT/NO 27292
